Saw this billboard over at HoopDoctors.com and thought it was kind of funny. I am not a fan of giving the opposition any more motivation than they already have but doesn’t this billboard kind of tell the whole story? The message of “Beat LeBron” is directed at one guy on their team, and not the team as a whole.
If anything I think this billboard shows everything that LeBron stands for, just himself. He isn’t a team guy and never will be and everyone sees him like that. He cares most for himself, his brand and his image.
Without getting too much ahead of myself with this series, holy good Christ is Taj Gibson a grown ass man. A solid win last night, total team victory but as Sully says, “A series doesn’t really start until one team loses at home.”
If the Bulls can continue to make LBJ and Wade shoot jump shots and force Chris Bosh to beat them then I think the series should continue to swing their way. Stay out of the pissing match with them and continue to play good defense and good things will happen. Three guys will never beat an entire team not matter how good those three guys are…Bulls!
Big Bulls win last night, good to see them blow out a tough Hawks team in a big game. No we are on to the Heat. It’s going to be a great series and if the Bulls can exploit the fact the Heat play 2 on 5 basketball then the Bulls should take this series.
This gif is making its way around the interwebs of a Bulls fan in Atlanta being quite embarrassed of his over-sized cowboy hat when he gets shown on the jumbo-tron. I seriously think I’ve watched this like 300 times and laughed every time, I mean come on the guy looks like Carlton Banks. This gif also brings me back to one of my favorite SNL moments as well.
Big Game 6 tonight for the Bulls, if they follow my 5 keys to victory they should lock this one up tonight. Staff writer Jim Cook would also like me to remind the Bulls to “control the neutral zone” and “FINISH”…
1. Turn Jeff Teague into a jump shooter.
Teague is a lot like Rose where if he gets past his man and into the lane you can pretty much put the points on the board. The bigs in the middle need to make sure rotate over and play good help side defense in order for this to happen.
2. Taj or Boozer…either one I don’t care.
One of these two big men needs to step it up on the offensive end. Again I really don’t care which one of them it is but someone needs to help Rose and Deng with the scoring.
3. God damnit Omer learn fucking English
While Jo provides a great effort on the defensive end he isn’t doing much on the offensive end. This comes as no surprise but with the Hawks keying in on stopping Rose the Bulls need to get scoring from other guys. Omer Asik has been playing well in this series but if he can play off Taj and get some easy buckets it will help open up the lane for Rose and Deng.
4. Cold Sauce?
Hey Kyle Korver we almost named my parent’s new dog after you, what a mistake that would have been. Are you going to play in this series? You are paid to hit open shots and guess what you aren’t doing in this series? Hitting open shots! Get your shit together let’s start knocking down a few shots…you are still pure face though.
5. Get your ‘mates involved early
Derrick Rose can take on the Hawks all by himself if need be, he has already proven that. However as we saw in the 4th quarter of Game 5 when Derrick got Taj and co. involved it was a thing of beauty. Get them involved early and take over late.
Seriously Carlos, seriously? It is bad enough you are the worst player on the Bulls throughout the playoffs thus far but now just as you are showing signs on starting to come around you pull this shit? Not only did everyone and their mother chastise the Lakers for doing shit like this but are you really trying to set Josh Smith off, cause that’s all we need in this series is a pissed off Josh Smith.
Nothing about what you did was going to end well. Take a page out of Noah’s book and just be an agitator not a dirty player. Come on Carlos!
By the way, how did that 4th quarter look from the bench? You are getting outplayed by two guys named Taj and Omer.
I don’t want to be the bearer of all things bad news but the Miami Heat are really, really good. They are playing 2 on 5 versus the Celtics and are still out to a 3-1 series lead. If you haven’t watched any of that series I suggest you tune in for what will be the final game of the series on Wednesday.
I am not going to breakdown what a Bulls-Heat series would look like because the Bulls have enough problems without me already passing them on to the Conference Finals.
Again this Heat team, which plays with 2 players, is finally starting to figure it out. It doesn’t seem all that complicated either, just give James or Wade the ball and get the fuck out of the way. In last night’s game I thought Delonte West did a great job on defense against Wade and he still had 28 points, which included the dagger 3 pointer in overtime. I would say that you have to key on stopping Wade and make James and that pussy Bosh beat you but just reread that sentence and try and convince yourself that it will work.
Going forward if the Celtics want any shot of getting back into this series they need to knock LeBron on his ass when he goes to the rim and turn him into a jump shooter, if he shoots lights out then tip your cap to him. If James feels comfortable going to the bucket he is going to lower than shoulder and do it all game and when he does that he is basically unstoppable. Key on stopping Wade, who more times than not seems to be the playmaker on that team and just let Bosh continue to be that scared little bitch he is. Again all these things are easier said than done but whatever the Celtics are trying to do isn’t working.
Bulls in the Da’ Playoffs, Boozer is awful, White Sox suck, Cubs…well are the Cubs and Summer in the Chi is fast approaching. Kind of seems like one of those 2-3 week stretches that just drifts by without much of anything happening.

I haven’t talked about this much because it seems everyone is bitching about one thing or another and I’m not getting into a political pissing match with any of you. Waaaa we shouldn’t be celebrating death, we shouldn’t have thrown his ass out into the ocean…um yes we should have.
