8 Major Leaguers Who Would Need to Hit From Second Base in a Home Run Derby

With the MLB Home Run Derby taking place tonight in St. Louis it got us here at Roman Is Burning thinking about all the games of home run derby we used to play as a youngin.  Now if you were like us you would go to the nearest baseball field with a fence and play with a group of friends.  Chances are the field you were playing on was way too big for you to even fathom thinking of hitting a ball over the fence, so what did you do?  You moved up to hit from second base of course.  While we all have some great memories of playing homerun derby as little kids, today we wanted to take a look at the 8 Major Leaguers Who Would Need to Hit From Second Base in a Home Run Derby. These are guys who aren’t blessed with the most power but make their living with the base hit.  We aren’t making fun of these players, but how cool would it be to have a home run derby tonight with this group hitting from second base, because as always, “chicks dig the long ball.”
