Kind of a slower week in sports, but we’ll make news out of nothing if we have to.
Tiger and Federer Pick up Victories
Woods and Federer both picked up big wins in their respective sports over this past week. Tiger won his won tournament, the AT&T National, and Federer picked up the marathon victory at Wimbledon over Andy Roddick. Apparently Tiger was getting ready to tee-off just as Federer was closing the door on Roddick, so Tiger went into his bag, pulled out his phone and shot Federer a text message congratulating him. Tiger then when on to text, “now it’s my turn”. Wow that’s cute, when are these two going to put down the Gillette razors and just start dating already?

Roddick is mentioned therefore we get a pic of Brooklyn
MLB Announces it’s All-Stars
Overall these teams are fairly accurate with a few exceptions (list of Roman is Burning snubs below). A few things about the All-Star game in general though, first off the fans should not be voting if the game counts. Yes it’s fun to include a bunch of morons who think it’s a popularity contest but if you are going to make the game count for something then stop letting the fans choose. Finally a question that a lot of people have been asking lately, how many of these All-Stars would you find on the list of 104 players that tested positive for PEDs in 2003? I’m just asking.

Lance Armstrong Tires to Reclaim the Yellow Jacket
I know nothing about cycling except a lot of the guys take ‘roids, and that Lance is the man. Therefore here is a video dedicated to Lance getting back on the bike.
Steve McNair Killed
A truly tragic story and one police and investigators are still trying to find answers to. McNair will always be remembered for his toughness, determination and heart, truly a tragedy to loose such a good man.

Sorry, but how many times do we get to mention Andy Roddick?
